Valuation: A New Approach to Measure the Performance of Last Planner System

The Last Planner System (LPS) is a production planning and control system that utilizes the lean construction philosophy to improve workflow reliability. Although there are several metrics developed measure performance of LPS, current fail genuinely reflect actual LPS. literature review shows no evidence existing researches provide holistic approach Consequently, this research aims propose new LPS called valuation. objectives are: (1) an overview used (2) 10 steps based on valuation approach, (3) utilize derive numerous all possible relationships between main sub (i.e., activity constraint) categories currently available or may emerge in future. This contributes body knowledge by deriving significantly more comprehensive mathematically robust since they integrate criteria rely value rather than number amount activities constraints. Hence, generates accurate results. Moreover, can help professionals track across phases even projects accumulating data measuring proposed metrics.
